Grey4Gold is helping to revive the UK’s high streets one council at a time. We’ve delivered business coaching on behalf of councils throughout England and Wales.

Thriving High Street campaign

In Wales, we delivered part of the Thriving Hight Street campaign, which was funded by the Welsh Government’s Sector Priorities Fund Pilot (SPFP) programme.

Created by Shropshire Council, we teamed up with the National Skills Academy for Retail to deliver business mentoring to businesses in Shropshire

We wanted to offer business mentoring to encourage entrepreneurs, who ultimately help build our local economy. The service Grey4Gold offers has been hugely worthwhile. He has provided one-to-one to a few shops, as well as team sessions. Rowland has provided a fresh pair of expert eyes and a depth of knowledge which we could never offer. He is someone completely neutral, not the council or chamber of commerce, that knows what he is talking about, which is why his presence has had such a good response from businesses.

Grey4Gold launched on 1 June 2010 as an online professional business skills matching service, specialising in retail. We evolved to meet the needs of the UK’s businesses and now offer personalised one to one business coaching. Our knowledge is based on successful careers as senior executives in retail.

Our aim was, and continues to be, to attract people with proven experience in the retail industry, so they can coach the new and next generations of small and medium-sized businesses (SME’s).
